  • Advice needed if possible

I\'m off fishing tommorow and i\'m taking my spinning rod for a bit sport hopefully
Im going to try some lures the type you would use for pike etc, being new to spinning im unsure as to how to tie the lure on the main line do i use a swivel first or tie direct to line and do i need to add a weight on,if anyone can help or direct me to a site which would help it would be most appreciated.
I\'ll post a report when i return and hopefully should have some photos for all to see
    Cheers in advance

you can tie direct to the lure ive been using genie links to main line then just clip lure/spinner into it

personally I\'d suggest a small snap link swivel on your line. makes changes lures a doddle, but more importantly, if the lure is ties straight to the line, its going to twist the line as it spins, every time time you hoy it back out it will twist some more... can end up with lots of tangles if your not careful
