  • Better than winning the lottery

after all the years of stick I have taken from my wife for the hours I put in fishing, I have finally cracked it.
YES, she has finally picked up a rod and tried fishing. Now I cant keep her away from the sea. Fished Friday 5.30pm till just after midnight, then again Sunday.\" Lets have a couple of hours fishing \" she said. Went down to Shouth Shields at 3pm and got back home sometime near 1 in the morning. Now she wants to fish Roker pier, but not through the day. She wants to try night fishing so she says \" can we go there late and fish through the night? \"
Not sure if i,ve done the right thing by getting her interested.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible,
but P*****g everyone off is a piece of cake.

i normally fish at roker pier. i have founf that going night fishing there is very good.
i normally go to the right hand side of the lighthouse because peeple allways catch there.
When i go fishing with my nephews and they get bored i just hang ther line down left the side of the lighthouse and i normally catch sumit there.

If she\'s anything like my wife, she\'ll love \"catching\" and quickly get bored with \"fishing\". I couldn\'t get the rod out of her hands at Whithorn when it was a fish a cast, but will she join me on the beach in the middle of winter to blank?

Bide your time Mike, she\'ll soon get bored (or cold)

Well, I finally got back to NESA. The wife started fishing and I cant get her to stop. We,ve been fishing, Shields ( both North and South ), Seahouses and Craster, Clacton, Southend on Sea, Roker and back to South Shields. The wife is 5 codling, 2 coalies and a haddock ahead of me, and I now have less time to get logged on. I am not sure who is going to give up first, me or her.
