For those that saw my post last month and advised me to go to Amble Angling, thank you.

Went in their yesterday and Norma sold me a lovely Sonik SK3 (second hand), reel, some pre tied rigs and other terminal tackle and an hours worth of advise for the paltry sum of £125. Now all I need is a rod rest (might make my own sand spike), some bait and if I'm lucky, someone to show me the ropes.

I'll hopefully be pulling in the fish soon.
