  • Port Carlisle rubbish

N.B. Port Carlisle, travelling anglers have been leaving a great deal of rubbish after fishing matches there including old, bait, hooks, pegs, and rubbish in general. If matters do not improve anglers could well be stopped from fishing there. Sadly once again the few are spoiling it for the many. This also applies to any venue, take it home with you.

its a bit like p*****g in the wind about the rubbish problem with anglers isnt it.even a club match and rubbish is left.i collected pegs after the open there and had a go at a lad cos he left his ****e there three pegs away from me,he couldnt have give a toss and looked at me as if i was in the wrong.
the port carlisle problem is self inflicted but there is a lot of newcomers to the area with time on their hands and a problem with angling.
they dont like much and even tried to get the farmers to stop taking their cows up the roads as it made the roads dirty!!i was talking to a farmer last time i was down near there and he had no problems with angling at all,in fact he seemed pleased to have a crack with someone.
on a lighter note it doesnt stop them letting their dogs crap everywhere even all over the new footpath, many a time ive shared a peg at pc with a great big dog turd

Carelessly discarded rubbish is the most common thread on all angling boards, so clearly people care about it. But the thing is, if so many people care about it, why doesn\'t it stop?
