Polywogs, Weavers,Bullheads n Pugs.

Hiya everyone
I took my littl uns fishing the other day, we were just dangling a bait straight down the side of the jetty hoping for crabs but we got a fish, one of them stingy little buggas.
I have been fishing all my life but I still didnt know what to tell them it was called?
Ive heard so many names for them, Scorpion fish, Polymogs, Polywogs, Pugs, Weavers, Bullheads, Bullheaded weavers. What are they called?
Ive noticed 2 different types. Ive even seen people boiling them for soup on tv YUK.
Any info much appreciated for my 4 and 5 yr olds. OH and me LOL.

If it was a stinger it must have been a Weaver, either lesser or greater I would not know as I didn\'t see it but they are the only one\'s we have mate.

Probably a short spined sea scorpion (granny fish). Ugly little buggers, or big ones sometimes.
