wonder if it might be worth getting some signs up to encorage people to become more responsible?

then again they ll prob use them as fire lighters.

well done anyway alan better than turning a blind eye and loosing yet another easy access fishing spot due to mindless inconsiderate idoits!

Gets right on my nerves this. I was fishing Roker Pier on Sunday and all of a sudden the sea just seemed to fill up with about a crate of empty cans. If they can carry a full crate on why cant they carry an empty one back off? Surely it\'s a lot lighter. I vote for CCTV on the piers and on the spot fines for rubbish dumpers. Never going to happen as we\'ll end up getting barred from fishing them before they spend money doing things about it.

this i a subject which ****es me off time and time again and has been brought up on here a lot. there have been posters put up in the past and a group went out cleaning some time ago if i am correct. its never gonna stop though there will allways be fluffing winkers who dont care about the countryside, coast and even our streets. on my local streets i will say something but if i\'m on me own on blyth pier for example unless i was with some big mates its not worth saying anything
because you will get abuse back at you .

all i do is pick up what rubbish i find and put in my box and take it to the bins afterwards. i know its not mine but if it keeps the place a little cleaner and safer for ourselves and wildlife then thats ok by me. at the moment thats unfortunately all we can all do if we care about were we fish and live.

                        cheers

Yes there\'s been loads of posts on this subject over the years .... not only does it get some venues closed to anglers but it gives us a bad name .

like i said all we can do to help is to pick other peoples rubbish up when its left behind, anoying i know but if it keeps areas open for the the good tidy anglers thats a good thing
