sixfoot, i was intending to come back in time to cover the event, however it now seems my reputation has spread, I am doing the weigh in as well. Hope it does not get blown off early you will all have a long wait.
Alan.f dont think i will enjoy it very much as it looks as if it is going to be very hot, i wont get to wet a line after carp until about 1 o,,clock tomorrow until dusk, then sadly i will be fishing from about 7am to dusk Friday and Saturday, then until about noon sunday. And my wife is going to do all the cooking and bring me bacon butties and cups of tea.
TC after looking after little uns most of thee week, the place i go to does not allow them. So bxxxxr off.

forgot to let yous lot know. had a great time, sitting in the sunshine reading the paper and dozing off, to be interrupted as a carp took off, caught ten between 8lb and 16lb. But it was still nice to be back and see all your smiling faces at the boat comp. Journalists always tell the truth

stayed at a little place at Strensall, North Yorks, has its own lake, only residents can fish it so it does not get basjed around. They are also very strict about what you can use for bait and no ground bait, just little bits of your hook bait allowed
