  • Fishing for Flattys

    Hello all
I recently found out how to fillet and skin flattys Theyre nice battered and fried.
My only problem is I cant catch the buggas lol Ive only ever caught them accidentally whilst fishing for codling and whiting etc I even had them on maccarel float, but I cant get them when im targeting them.
Has anybody got any tips to help me target flats? Ive heard of people spinning for them round morecombe area What type of spinners/spoons would they go for?
What bait and rigs best to use on our coast (NE)?

If you are fishing beaches i find using a rig with 2 or 3 booms on and a 1/0 hook with rag tipped with mackeral the best, same for river fishing for them.

Deepends where you are to be honest, like all fishing LOL
