Well.......here we are again - the month of the Boat Comp.
I\'ve had a number of people asking if there\'ll be an on-line auction leading up to the comp, as has been the case previously.
So....as they say, \"back by public demand\".........I\'ll be opening up the Auction Room again this weekend.
Most of you will know the format - but for those newer members, here\'s the way the auction works:-
Either e-mail or PM me with details of what you\'d like to donate to the auction (if you\'re e-mailing me, you can attach a photo of the item, if you like). Once I\'ve recieved the details, I\'ll post the item (along with the photo if one is provided) in the Auction Room section. Each item will be it\'s own \"topic\"
Those interested in the item can place their bids by simply posting it as a reply in that topic.
At the end of the auction, highest bidder gets the item.
All the money raised from the auction will be added to whatever is raised from the Boat Comp taking place at the end of the month and handed over to a N.E. based RNLI Station.
Take a look in the \"AUCTION ROOM\" forum in the RNLI area for full details on the format of the auction.
