Ive been looking for a longer rod more of an all rounder but mostly for clean beaches and have been very interested in a greys triplex 16ft can any one recomend a good long rod for a reasonable price that has a decent bite detection and a little wave wont make it bounce about a lot thanks

lots of good long rods about imo if you do a search on here and world of sea fishing you will find lots of useful info.did you know panel pins comes in diff sizes ?

I'm using a 15ft fox nemesis at at the minute. It's not at all floppy for a 3 piece rod and can be used in pretty rough ground. It casts a big clipped down bait miles with a 6 and a 1/4oz lead. It casts 7oz well enough as well. I use it with a shimano navi and braid. I love it.Regards Nicky.
