unfortunately because of circumstances beyond my control the there was no sea angling in on Saturday. There is a good chnace that the sea angling will be in tomorrow.

It was not a case of there not being any room, it seems the copy got mislaid somewhere is hyper space and is still out there somewhre. The Journal sports editor was on the phone on Friday to see where it was, and did leave a message for me and they where desperate for the copy as they know how important it is. that is why they gave each angling aspect its own day. But unfortunately i was in Yorkshire and have just been able to contact them. They put that much importance on the angling that they are doing their best to get it in tomorrow.

i deal with the journal and chronicle day in day out and they are not that bad, infact i would give them a big thumbs up most of the time. i would say in a year and apx 250 obituary notices going in only 1-3 problems at the most. it sometimes happens things do get lost in the big system and as the song goes \"thats life\"

If you have seen it the Journal did the sea angling proud, two colour photos. Pity there had been very little caught.

Just had a phone call from my mate and he asked if I had seen todays Journal as there is apicture of Keith Ford ( a guy we both used to work with ) with the 20lb cod he caught on his first trip out on his brothers boat. I have,nt seen the Journal yet.
