Whitby Tackle shops???

Well i often get alot of my things from Whitby tackle shops but today when i was down i found my fav shop had been shut down and a new one with new owner etc opened up on the other side of the road.

When asked in the new shop what happened to the old one it all when quite? i then walked over to the one at the other side of the bridge and mentioned i had been in the new one that had opened....change in the voice and tone was instant i.e not happy, when i mentioned the one that closed down it went quite again.

Anyone know the crack why that shop shut? seems a mini tackle war was going on ha.

p.s both shops cheap for alot of things i still ended up spending £40 between the two and friendly people when not talking about each others shops

I think the two that were there until recently were both owned by the same people mate. Haven't been down there since last August so I didn't know things had changed. Whats the new shop like ?

It had only been open 1 day, he wa still putting things on the wall.. shame Whitby angling shop shut it was so cheap for bulk buys.
