Probably a daft question but is fresh noticeably better ? I have only ever used frozen because I don't really know how to prepare it.

there are plenty of crab in devon all the year round,will soon be plenty in wales,west coast,cumbria,and the n/e,if i could use only one bait it would be crab,crab and more crab,great bait if used properly. davy.PB

BIRDS EYE, reckon frozen PEAS, are just as good to eat as fresh garden peas,? but saying that before someone else says it,dont suppose fish eat frozen peas,he,he,he. personally frozen crab is still not as good as fresh,BUT coalies seem to prefure frozen,rant over. tight lines.

Pull the legs off one by one, go gentle though a there wont be much crab left if you dont
Then peel the back and underside off, when no more shell left on remove the lungs and eye sockets
Cut in half and thread on to your hook using bait elastic, also peel the legs to put on the end to tip it off with
