unusual bait!!!!!!
ok so went out fishing down newbiggin south beach today to use last of my rag from monday i got down there for about 2 to fish low tide and blanked the first hour so i thought i might try something different so i picked a couple of limpets from the rocks and stuck 3 on a size 1/0 hook tipped with a rag tail and waited for about 15 mins and ooked into a undersized whiting then after having nothing again for a while and eventually ran out of bait so i decided just to use limpets and within 3/4 of an hour i pulled in a 1lbish flatty. Finally a day i didnt blank all n all a good day nice weather too and now i know limpets are suprisingly good :-)
