well guys and gals.seems i packed my cod rods away intime.ive never heard of a bloody whiting in the last fortnight or so.anybody still fishing or are we waiting for spring,lol.
anyhow guys.since the fishing is slow i thought i\'d deviate a little,i was thinking what gear was good for another season,what needed repairing or what i needed new.so i was wondering what thing ,pice of tackle.lamp,suit.what is going to be your next big purchase for next or maybee even this season.here is my WISH list

1.new pair of reels im afraid.i have two 14 year old slosh 20\'s that have gave me fantastic perfomance and reliability but are seriously showing signs of age.still mixed up over what choice to make,another pair of slosh\'s springs to mind but we have to keep with the times a bit and do like my magnetic casting control i have for my feild work abu mags.i need a tough reel that casts very long ,is light and has a high retrive ratio.abu\'s are no good for the fishing i do so that leaves the penn mag in all its forms.i used to own a mk1 525 mag and didnt like it realy.so im still mixed up.lol

2.new headlamp..mines ficked

3.. floaty suit...mines a fladden and its nowhere near as hot as my sundridge..both are ficked.lol

I\'ll be getting a slosh 30 and maybe looking at new rod. Currently have a Fireblade Sport but could do with something with an extra 12 inches. (the missus agrees!)

i use a abu mag elite but only for clean /shingle beache\'s the super mag is the dogs do dars and i got a mustad viking thermotic floaty suit for my b day there nice and toasty hope it helps

Well i have just got rid of the 525 mag i bought.
I just could not get away with it,yet went back to my old RT mission and it casts like a dream,almost empty the spool.
But i do need a new reel and have always fancied the slosh 20,so may give that a go and a new rod if i can afford one.
But as always it is money,need to get my bike back on the road and that costs.

Thinking of a new bass rod. I like the look of the Daiwa Supercast Bass. Got the TDPK and like it but it\'s getting on.

Clean beach rod. going to have a blast of the orion before I part with £99.

im wanting a new rod and reels the abu mag still has years left in it so mabey a rod and reel combo the super mag is the reel its just finding the right rod now lol
