Could be a nice fish holding hole when they blow that up then. Will have to remember not to wade out too far lol.

      Jim.
Remember, some people are alive simply because it is illegal to shoot them.

Maybe the police should have checked out the middle toilets while they where there ,aparently there\'s a lot of bombing goes on there .

At least I think it\'s bombing.

Human jawbone washed up there as well this week (Journal). Police think it\'s ancient remains. Must be down to the the movement of sand with the big sea\'s.

I found a hand grenade back of st mary\'s about 10 years ago, thought it was just the casing,

chucked it in the boot of the car, got hom,e took it out and thought I\'d empty all the mud out of it...

so started banging it on the top of the garden wall, bits and pieces of mud stated to drop out..

followed by the detonator spring, cordite and loads of nice blue stuff which I can only assume was the charge!

nearly wet my pants when i realised it was still \'loaded\'

luckily 50 years of saltwarer must of rendered it harmless, must of been harmless, as it all went in the bin and byker incinerator is still there

Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs
