    i love my summer fishing off the rock marks but have always used fresh bait, has any of you lads or lasses used the multi coloured calcutta shads for lures for pollack and other summer fish. i was thinking of giving them a shot, any information would be great amd maybe save me some money

    yes had pollock from whithorn on red gills and rubber worms

      Mark I use Storm Shads,good over in Scotland but not so good in the North East,never really gave them a proper go though,Sinkerman Al is your man,got mine off him and they were spot on and well priced

          Tie my own Snatcher sandeels up.Normal hook is a 3/0 O\'shaunessey. The two main colours I tie up are silver and silver with a green tinge on the back. Also put chain bead eyes onto them.

          Quite deadly for the pollack on the Mull of Galloway where I spend a lot of time
