I'm up at portpatrick now in a static, blazing sunshine all the roads are clear, no problems, although there are still drifts at the side of the road. 8ft is the best I've seen! Farmers have been digging roads out with jcbs etc. the car park at the lighthouse north of portpatrick is under 2ft of snow, but that's the only place I Havnt been able to get to and I've driven round the lot. Not a hint of snow further south at the mog/tarbets. Not much chance to fish so far, although im going to have a bash tonight.
