  • Tynemouth Beach

been down the beach this morning, the sand that has been shifted is incredible, most of the marks i used to fish are sanded up, and I was actually able to walk and touch the boiler, can't remember ever being able to do that with just wellies on in my long association with the beach. With the wind dropping the beaches at Whitley and Tynemouth certainly look fishable over low water

some rock marks will now be full of sand and some beaches devoid of it.

ive noticed over the years that in hartlepool asfter a good prolonged s/e wind our beaches get sand sucked off them.

a few good northerlies soon puts it back though.

Slaty gut is the rock at north end of tynemouth beaches 2 hours either side of low water but watch as you can be cut off by the flood m8. casting towards the light house at tynemouth pier

bottom of the stairs is the north end of tynemouth beach cant miss them i fish here until i can get onto slaty m8

bathing pool skeer is the rocky skeer next to bathing pool at tynemouth beach this is again a low water show can fish from the sands casting along sidfe of skeer or can cast from the skeer it self.

                  hope this helps m8
