    I\'m like you Colossus I was\'nt aware of any problems between bird people and anglers,this turned out to be a interesting thread for me and probably others that were\'nt aware of Budle Bay and the problems with bird watchers etc

          Fished the inlet to Budle bay at low water and had plenty flounders.
          I have fished around Lindisfarne for years and never had any problems.
          If you are driving round Budle bay you will see the twichers parked up near Warren Mill, they are quite freindy, we often give them a few toot\'s on the horn as we drive past, they usually give us a wave....

            Glad to hear it Neil. Twitchers aren\'t all bad! Alan, I like wearing both hats.

            Did have a thought. Maybe I should start catching birds and watching fish. Might have more success. Did catch a fulmar last year at Cullernose point. Best catch of day

              got a text off my mate who went back to Budle today,he got 10 Flounder all well in size,probably get some better details on Tuesday night when I see him at work

                I Neil, the same ones that where so against anglers at the BB inquiry, they can smile now as they got their way.
