          under the bridge opposite the glass centre. go a little left aswell along the walkway and there wont be any wind.

            went here , was ok , I don't like rivers but I had bait to use . few small codling and flatties , frozen cold anarlll.....

              try south side of wearmouth bridge inbetween the two concrete bridge supports no wind plus if it rains will have more chance of bagging a few good fish as they swim under the bridge to keep out of the rain
