    Has anyone heard any good bad or indifferent reports about Hartlepool as I am going there tomorrow,any where from Middleton to Parton over low water? 1ST TRIP OF THE YEAR.YAAAAAY Cheers lads

        i fished it a couple of days ago i got a few whiteing good size and a 8 inch codling but a lad just up from me at end of pier had a 3 1/2lb cod loads of whiteing right now but not seen any dabs for awhile not just me with the dabs a few people have said they have not been catching dabs from the pier :P

          tat heared a 6 pound cod caught on middleton (high water)staincliff would be best bet at low water

            Fished Middleton from 4pm till 8pm,used a variety of baits,missed 2 bites that a blind centurion could of hit,and at 7.50 came up with my 1st codling of the season.8 inches(mebbe 9).went back,along with 3 undersize whiteys and a codling of approx 2-3lbs that fell off when Jack(my son) tried to haul it up the wall.He was taught a hard lesson, sh1t happens.All fish taken on rag tipped with mackeral.A thoroughly enjoyable sesh.
