finaly someone from the whitefish association has slipped up and mentions sweeping every thing from the sea.

\"Rhona Grant, of the Aberdeen Fish Curers and Merchants Association, said: \"It would be very unusual to see a cod of this size being landed at any ports in Scotland these days.\"

\"They are generally picked up by the fishing boats before they grow to these proportions.\"

          F*****g ****s.

same thing happened at torness in the last couple of years when they emptied a pool during maintenance,it was only one fish, think it was 38lb

Used to live about 1/2 mile from Dounreay, some very good fishing close to the power station, lots of locals talk of lobsters and crabs with 3 claws.

Oh and very close, beach X is a few miles away from there and very good for Bass

I have a photo of me rock fishing and you can just make out Dounreay in the background (I\'ll post it when I get home at w*rk at the moment).

There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot. I guess I'm the idiot.

my brother used to work at the station that was on the isle of grain ----he used to say about the large cod that used to get thrown in the skips when it was cleaned out---no-one was allowed to take them
old fishermen never die--they just put there rods away
