codling off blyth last night

4 cod landed off blyth peir last night ...5lb and 3 3lbish - not by me of course...the bloke next to me...

but i learned a vlauable lesson i didnt realise how much bait you need to put on the hook!! he was puttin loads on and i was just puttin a littlte bit on and i also saw how he had his presented with the hook - i had 3 or 4 big knocks but becasue i think i been baitin up wrong the foookers never nibbled me hook lol never mind better luck next time ( tomorrow )

trouble with blyth pier is there dosent seem to be a lot of fish caught but the ones that re caught are decent ones. Not heard of many big ones from the pier this winter.
