    Just been down for a walk with the dogs and there's some sea on mind. White water as far as the eye can see. Waves crashing over the piers. Be careful if you are venturing out lads.

    Found some big bones looked like cuttlefish bones ? Not sure, quite a few washed up in the surf. What would they be ?

    Were they oval shaped? If so, they could be cuttlefish bones, like you say.

    they mate in spring and die shortly afterwards, so it's not far off the right time of year for them,

      yeah mate, oval shaped and about twice the size of a beermat. Found several just along the shoreline. I just passed on the info in case it would be worth using big squid baits if anyone is having a go along there as the sea dies off.

              I have seen quite a few on the hall this past week. Wonder if a shoal came in too close just as the sea,s arrived.
