Eyemouth cannons

Has anyone been down the “goat path” of late at the cannons ?

Is it still fine ?

Sick of my usual golf course marks, and I’ve only been up twice of late !

Gonna have a look north. Need a-bit advice first though.

could alway's try St Abbs, but that's a climb aswell.

Not sure what the path is like - haven’t been down for years, but if its a bit iffy you can always walk around the bottom of the cliff from the Eyemouth side. You have to wait until the tide has ebbed a bit and you have to get off sharper but if you approach it a bit too soon there are one or two fish to be had casting along the side of some of the big rocks you walk past.
Where are you thinking of further north?

I think it’s going to be a walk around the beach to be honest, bit of a big Jessie with heights ! 😬

I was just thinking from Eyemouth harbour to Coldingham Bay, that’s north for me as I’ve never left the golf course marks as of yet.

Been talking to a good lad on a Facebook group who’s going to try show me around at Coldingham Bay. Fingers crossed for that.

if you walk north of the cannons for a couple of hundred yards there's an easy accessible mark just down from the back of the caravans, if you look down its like a flat slab, deep water and cracking fishing mate

not the slab mark im thinking about mate, no use if a sea on though as yer might get swept off
it does get popular at times too
