incase i get a blow to the head and decide to try fish for carp and other type of fish like these just for the experience of trying it where would be the best place closest to hartlepool i understand this is a sea fishing forum but curiosity of trying it one day may be nice.. thanks if any one replys and doesn't just laugh at me haha

I like to fish woodlands at thirsk with a method feeder or float..

Cracking complex with loads of well stocked ponds

Big commercials would probably be your best bet to get into the action straight away. It's a bit like shooting fish in a barrel, but at least you get to feel the power of the things. I've been to woodland lakes at Carlton miniot a few times and you can't fail to hook carp there. They take just about anything and they're not hookshy. There's probably closer places but it's pretty convenient with the cafe, tackleshop and easy access. It's maybe 30 mins from u down the a19 to Thirsk then west 5 mins.
