                      yes i was up for the comp Pete,had a mare though, the wind went really strong as soon as the comp started and i broke my second rod rest in 1 week lol. had to hold the rod all day in that wind
                      started at auchmithie and only had a couple of knocks that came to nowt.moved to the north side of flairs bay and duly got the car bogged down in the field abandoned it and went down had 1 out straight away near 5lb got pushed of that rock with the now raging sea and got hung up with two decent fish on the next rock.
                      luckily chris (you know him) was nearby and towed me out with his jeep.

                        sounds like a right cnut of a day mate,i was oot and a boot, not fishing thoughhad a look in at the redhead andrumness,loads of rods out there,ethie was buisy too, nipped up to bodden and all the marks were buisy as well, who won?? any idea??

                          a lot of the marks became unfishable as the tide pushed in Pete.
                          dougie drummond won with 20oddlb(missed his proper weight as some one distracted me) and jake chalmers had heaviest fish from usan at 11lb.spoke to a couple of lads from halleys club that went down to ethie and left pretty much straight away,to rough for there favoured marks,long walk to find that out lol.
