Tony - it\'s virtually right at the shore end of Tynemouth Pier, on the Haven beach.

WARNING - Anyone going back for the weigh-in be sure to pay the parking charges if using either of the nearby 2 car parks. The \'wardens\' are s**t hot in this area!

Are there pegs on the pier this year, and if so how do you go about getting in the draw, if you buy your tickets in advance.

Tickets are available at your local tackle shops I know grommits shop, game and fishing supplies has them in. I believe it is pegged as usual and pegs drawn on the morning of the comp.

pier tickets, simply come down to the registration point with your entry ticket, hand it to me where it will be signed (no coming back for a second go) and then take a lucky dip of the envelopes in the box. If you are lucky pier ticket numbers will be on the back of the card in the envelope. I do try my best to make sure nobody gets one.
