my favourite rig is the portsmouth loop and the pulley pennel two great rigs in my opinion.both very good casting rigs and very effective.

it,s very similar to a one up one down ,but the bottom snood has a breakaway cascade swivel about 6\" from the hook and the top snood clips into it and the bottom to the impact lead or impact shield two baits sit behind one another for casting.

2 or 3 hook mate depending on where you are fishing casts very well if you need distance.and the bottom snood can be as long as you want.

Used to be a pulley pennel, but so far this season I\'ve had more luck with whacker rigs and wishbones for whiting and plaice and a bog standard 3 way swivel setup off the rocks for cod.
