  • New Sea Angling Club In Yorkshire

    Hi,
Hope you don\'t mind me posting this here.
I am starting a new club in the Wakefield Area of West Yorkshire :
    \'Five Towns Sea Anglers\'.
Based in Knottingley we will be dedicated to promoting Sea Fishing
from the shore and from charter boats.
For the moment there will be no annual membership charge - All
Charter boat trips Must be paid for by the members going on them
with a non returnable deposit being paid upon booking.
If the club is successful and plenty of charter trips are booked,
then a monthly fee may become payable to spread the cost of the
    charters throughout the year.

If any of you are from the Wakefield area of Yorkshire - or
Yorkshire in general and you would like to join us, then send me an PM/e-mail for more details.
Membership won\'t just be for those in our area though, and anyone
that cares to join will be warmly accepted.

We have a website up and running (currently under construction - adding bits all the time)) and it can be found here :

As for shore fishing, venues being looked at to fish are :

Whitby, Scarborough, Bridlington, Filey, South Shields & maybe other venues in the North East depending on whether members want it.

Look forward to hearing from you
    Kenny

    Hi Kenny,

\"We have a website up and running (currently under construction - adding bits all the time).....\"

A link to NESA would be a nice \"bit to add\"

Best of luck Kenny but one bit of advice I would give is to think about taking a subscription, even if only small, for instance even a pound per month to get you up and running as the start is when all the expense is generally needed for insurance, incidental costs etc.

Once you\'re up and running then it can be more relaxed. Hope this helps.
