  • Zziplex primo full tournament

    I've just bought the above rod that needs a little tlc was wondering if anyone knows the original colour scheme of the whippings and eyes as I like to restore to how they were and another thing had this rod been discontinued and replaced with another rod if so does anyone know which one please

    These rods are very good and as good as any new model coming out of the Zziplex stable,just a little bit more weight than the newer rod but very capable in the right hands.
    I owned one of these last year and loved it but like all things you think the newer model will be better but this is not always the case.
    As far as color scheme go this was down to the rod builder at the time as Zziplex only send blanks out of the works and not fully build rods.
    This rod will serve you well.

      i would imagine the colour scheme would be down to the customer or rodbuilder at the time some like to use the colours in the badge not to sure

            I have my zziplex FT done in red with gold under whipping & looks great.
            Unfortunately it dosnt make me cast further
            I will only be out for a couple of hours pet.

              I have the same Rod and i have had it from new they are mint do you know anyone in the north east that rebuilts the blanks as mine needs some tlc also i wait your replys
