hi lads,i was fishing the other night at the glass house on the wear due to rough seas outside the mouth, after no codling showed through the flood we were scratching our heads,an old maybee 75 year old gent was fishing next to us and after conversation he said that cod dont feed in high pressure so as there was a big high pressure bar over the north east for days that we would have more chance of a prize pig in high presure.....! all y get is crabs, crabs, and more crabs in high pressure!.
well sure enough not a single cod for over 50 rods at least and i was pulling in crabs 2 at a time even on crab baits,
i aint never heard of this theory in over 25 years of fishing, has anybody got any info or have i been in cloud cukoo land for tho decades,i always thought wind from the south east or north will bring big seas and bring the fish inshore with easterlies being the prime winds.now some bugger tells me theres good wind and bad..lol
