  • high water mark

hi lads. im going out for half 3 this afternoon which is high tide. can anyoone suggest a mark worth trying fishing the ebb ?, never fished the ebb before apart from the river and had no luck. any marks on the pier that can fish on the ebb ?. thanks

I like the river on the ebb anywhere around South Shields, or you could fish off the end of the pier (the ebb pulls your gear away from you and away from the snags) anywhere past the blocks to the end, or the Groyne. Big casts needed both of those to clear the rocks.
