  • Tapered line

Have any of you guys used this stuff, its 200 yards long, starts at 20 pound and over the legnth increases in diameter until the last few yards when its about 60 pound....I would have thought this is perfect for those of us who lose a lot of rigs at the shockleader knot?

A rubbing leader is obviously useful over the rough but not a lot of good when it always goes ping whenever you are snagged up?

Does anyone sell this leader, pricey I suppose but might be worth a try?

failing that I suppose I should learn to tie a decent knot but that bimini twist looks like sheer hell to learn.

the line is called cormoron seacor

I\'d have thought that one snag or birdsnest would have knacked it.
Then you would have to replace or just tie on a new leader, so your in the same boat.
Plus your supposed to replace your leader every trip because it gets the most abraison (or so I\'m told).
But to answer your question no i have not seen it, but i\'d imagine the tackle shops would be keen to sell it.
If you don\'t like the look of the bimini there are other knots very nearly as good and much easier such as the spider hitch and the tournament knot.
