OK, a local boy to you lads posted this on another forum, i have just copied and pasted.... any info i can pass on to him?

Got this information second hand so do not know the validity of it. The crack is that the police,using their launch and helicopter forced all anglers off the pier over the weekend. They were also taking names and addresses sad.gif
Has anyone got any extra information on this? If it turns out to be true it will be a bitter blow to the lads on the south side of the Tyne. I wonder if it is a follow uo to the two lads who were badly injured on Tynemouth pier a few weeks ago.
