  • Sunday night guidance

Can somebody tell me where to drown my worms on Sunday night please?

Can probably get cast in locally (rendezvous at Whitley the closest mark) by 21:00 (high tide being 20:20) realistically after my reverse-vampire children go to sleep. Will be fishing down to about 01:00 Was thinking maybe Tynemouth swimming pool, but will try owt suggested locally (Tynemouth to Blyth).

Please don't say Blyth pier though.. Although I did have a thoroughly enjoyable scratching session on Duncow quay last Sunday afternoon on the flood.

As always lads, any advice is gratefully received. Perhaps one day I'll learn enough to give some back!

Hi mate I would fish Whitley beach mate the sea is going to get away tonight and keep running until Sunday .
So you have a good chance of getting something decent .
Good luck where ever you decide to go.

I hear that either the boat house (North end, you can access by the pitch and putt car park) or the rendevouz cafe (opposite the leisure pool) will fish well depending on the direction of the wind. ie, northerly wind, go south on the beach and vice versa. Someone told me that below the big clock by the rex hotel (off the prom) will fish well at high tide for bass as well.

        Time will tell though.
