Well, another fantastic day for the Cleadon SAC hosting the 2nd John Stephenson Memorial Open. A big thanks to all the club members who came together to make this a great event yet again. Thanks to all the local businesses and tackle dealers for their continued support and generous donations.Last but certainly not least thanks to all the Anglers who took part and supported our event.
Results
121 senior anglers and 2 Junior anglers took part.
31 senior anglers and 1 junior angler returned to the scales.
Junior winner with a fish of 512g (1lb3oz) Joe Russel.
The heaviest Flat fish winner was Steve Taarland with a fish of 488g (1lb1oz).
Heaviest Bag went to Lee Jackson with 5 fish for a total bag weight of 5084g (11lb).
3rd heaviest round fish went to, Lee Jackson with a fish of 2022g.(4lb4oz)
2nd heaviest round fish went to, Paul Rogers with a fish of 2106g (4lb8oz)
1st and the heaviest fish of the competition went to Darren Browne, with a fish of 2682g. (5lb13oz)
the remaining competitors picked off the prize table from the 4th heaviest fish down. All returning anglers received a prize whether they weighed in or not.
