  • Following on from the squid post

When I was fishing out of Bridlington in the Summer the skipper gave us unwashed mini squid which is used as longlining bait. Worked great for the whiting. Does anyone know where you can buy this - don\'t worry, I\'m not asking anyone to carry me on their back to the counter of the store that sells it - I\'m prepared to do some legwork myself.

Baits direct do them mate (online mail order).
    Very cheap too.
I\'ve also had them from Rutherfords in Sunderland but i think you live further south than that do you?

I have bought what i\'ve heard called \"party squid\" from Rutherfords. They are small calamari squid (I think), about an inh and a half long.

that ones called metamorphois - and if you bought frozen tadpoles ,even i can guarantee that after months in your freezer ,they will still be frozen tadpoles ,and not frogs.
