Suggestions for tomorrow afternoon/night

Considering a trip out tomorrow or thursday and wondering where to go. Live in consett so everywhere is a trip out for me.

Anyone suggest any good spots where i am likely to get a codling or two? I am familiar with all the marks around the newbiggin area and one or two others.

Not bothered if rock/bEach or pier but will need to have somewhere fairly safe to park car nearby.

whitley beach has been fishing quite good at high water ,rocky island might be worth a chuck if the sea has dropped off or west bay at low water there are plenty of fish out there at the moment so make the most of it

All safe places to leave your car but if you fish west bay during the day don\'t forget to pay and display as he is still doing the rounds.

I might have a look at Rocky island later in the week if I get a chance.

Was thinking maybe lyne burn for a bit and then sandy bay once it gets dark? I know sandy bay area like back of hand as i spen most of youth there.

sandy bay deffo fishes best on the ebb between 3-5 hrs back.
