Aye yer not wrong there Neil. The really cold bit was walking over the golf course. Pleased it wasn\'t a long walk.
Yes Sean is probably getting stuck into it as we speak lol.
That is what I always do Tony just took a bit longer than usual last night lol.
Jim.Remember, some people are alive simply because it is illegal to shoot them.

Not long after I got into this fishing lark, kingfisher - we were fishing down on Shields beach one Winter night.....knew it was cold as the sand was frozen solid. Had a canny nights\' fishing - even though our bait kept icing up and the fish we caught were frozen solid within about half an hour. Got back to the car after we\'d finished - thermometer read -12
The old thumb sqeezing still worked, though.....lol

Usually hold my rod on the beach and always do so up the skeers so it\'s one hand on the rod (butt on my toe) and the other in my pocket. Regular change over but what a difference the lining in the flotation suit pocket makes. Hand is warm as toast. Other one\'s bl**dy freezing mind.

The disposable hand warmers keep going for over 7 hours and don\'t half help. I\'ve got a condition (Raynaud\'s) which causes my fingers, nose and toes to get a lot colder than most peoples (restricted blood flow) so keeping my hands and toes warm is a must. Just got some cheap large waterproof mittens to do the job.

I know I\'m probably gonna get some grief for this but I usually stick me hands doon me trolleys....Warms them up no end until I\'m ready to bait up again....Wor lass never moans about the smell so can\'t be that bad...Have tried handwarmers and find they only target specific points on your hands...Gloves are fine if your hands are already warm, but if they\'re freezing, I can\'t simply warm them up again by sticking me hands staright into them... Nah, it\'s got to be the nuts for me!"And I looked, and behold'a pale horse; and his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with hi, and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword and with hunger, and with the beasts of the earth"
