Cold Hands ...Help Please

My recent trips have been spoiled by cold hands. I seem to suffer more than most and it makes me feel uncomfortable as they get so cold they sting and stop me baiting up tieing knots etc!

Does anyone know of any gloves that are warm and thin enough to wear all the time when fishing including when baiting up?

I have tried neporene fingerless but still get cold hands. Not really bothered about cost as if i can find something that works it will make my fishing so much more enjoyable!

try a pair of tight surgical gloves then a pair of glovers over the top of them. they act as insulation. when you bait up just take the outer gloves off.

Most car acc shops sell them.
I use them all the time when working on the bike,but i have found neoprane gloves enough for me.

prefer Neoprene gloves or thinsulate wolly gloves depending on the weather,keep your hands in your pockets as much as possible,most decent Fishing coats, Floatation Suits or Titan coats, have nice warm pockets

Thanks had a look on that site, how many different kinds?

I work close to the bike place oin swalwell and the site says they stock them. Might pop in and have a look to see what i can find out.

Dont want to order on line in case the gloves are not \"dextrous\" enough

I tend to suffer a bit from cold fingers too. I always take a couple of pairs of fingerless mits and find they help. When it is really cold try the mits where the whole finger portion and the thumb portion both fold back. Not often I need those ones but they are great when it is extra cold. Could have done with them last night when we made our last move lol.
Just acquired a pair of Sundridge neoprene gloves where the thumb and two fingers fold back for baiting up and they seem ok but just used them once so far sothe jury is still out on them lol.

If you use a rod rest either wear gloves when you move or wrap your cloth round it as aluminium is one of the worst things for transfering heat or cold ask Kingfisher about our move last night lol.

Ive got a box of surgical glove lying about so might try a couple of pairs under my fingerless neoprene gloves before i splash out on some seal skins!

Apart from surgical and neoprene gloves, I keep a charcoal burning hand warmer in my pocket. £2.49p for the burner and £2 for 12 sticks to go in it, Great on the realy cold days.

I use two pairs of Damart fingerless gloves that I\'ve had for years. Those and dry warm pockets

No dry warm pockets last night Davy with all that rain and snow coming down lol.

I always put two or three towels in me box and find that helps, luckily I had three last night and two were soaking.

bought some gloves today JIM so no more cold hands but saying that i do not suffer from cold hands normaly i think it was just a f**king cold night with the snow and the sleet making matters worse WONDER IF SEAN HAD FISH FOR TEA

It speeds up the circulation of blood to your hands - try it - it DOES work.
