yeah i mightve come across a bit strong but its a bad time to post on a friday night and im not that bad really.
what i shouldve said is if ive had fish somewhere in a match or whatever is i would say the place but not the exact mark where i fished.most places are about a mile maximum but the mark might only hold one angler.
sorry if you still dont like this but ive been **** on before with marks and especially bait locations having one dug over completely in front of my eyes, most of the marks are common knowledge anyways, its just a case of exploring them.

Took up sea fishing just over 2 years ago did not know many marks or rigs or much idea of the equipment required, but loads of anglers from this and other sites have giving me advice and shown me how to do certain things to improve my angling, Ive started fishing open matches (pools Fodder) with no chance of getting among the good prizes but I learned alot and I am more then willing to pay this price to gain experience, having no knowledge to pass on yet I can fully understand if someone has put alot of hours and hard work to suss out a mark and would like to keep it quite, good on him,
would hate to be sent on a wild goose chase though, dont think I have met a angler who would not give me any advice though and it is much apprieciated.

M y Mark X if folk would taken time to read the old posts from myself going back to September is Cambois Pier and have stated that long since and is no secret spot but I called it Mark X for the simple reason the Pier is closed to the Public and gated and Closed and in a very bad unsafe state of repair. So do you really want me to make that public and get some one hurt or killed or done for trespassing Taking a risk myself but have fished this mark for over 30 years so know my safe route and tide conditions to make it safe to get on.

You just winding us up coz if you had a proper mark X you be fishing it now instead of reading this while ejaculating into your house waders.
Mark X doesn\'t exist cos if it did then we\'d all be \"there\" now and not not reading posts on nesa from a drunk bricky. exit
Long live mark X\'s Hello NESA 2day/nite, I hope you all had a good weekend

Seeing as I was the author of the first mark x post a few years back I suppose I better throw my tuppence worth in, if I spend a lot of time and money looking for new marks and the best times to fish these said marks (which I do)I cant see why I should post the exact location when posting a catch report. The report in itself should tell anybody that knows what they are doing that there are fish in the area, If I am fishing marks that everyone knows about I post that I was fishing that specific mark. In the future I will just post catch report east coast of Scotland.

tz500 apologies from me , I was responding in a similar frame of mind. I agree with everything you said in your last post. Gordon, don\'t change the nature of your posts as a result of this thread m8.

Mark X = knowledge and experience of mark X.
I hope all your best friends and family are blanking at mark Y while you get your rocks off at your mark X and revel in the fact that your grandchildren are blanking at Y when U are fillingvyour wellies at X. Mark X people make our sporting day a sad scene and i
Forget it. If you dont win a prize Mr sad \"pro\" match angler who must have the table I will still respect your knowlege/experience if you respect a littkle bit of me. BTW, is your name Bert Langcaster?Regards, Graham

I\'m with TZ500 and Gogs....Nowt worse than going to mark X and realising you can\'t get on, or if youre already there and people come down and start casxting over the top of you...or has happened to me before, someone comes down on a big sea and starts casting out with a plain lead....tangling everyone up with every single cast they make....Personal choice at the end of the day..."And I looked, and behold'a pale horse; and his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with hi, and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword and with hunger, and with the beasts of the earth"

Being new to fishing, well after a 20 year layoff i consider myself new.
Yes i listen to advice and read the reports but i have also found that you can cast ten degrees in the wrong direction and either blank or snag.So nothing is a sure fire cert.
I also find the experience of learning and gaining knowledge about marks and how to fish better, part of the enjoyment of fishing.
Everyone is different and has to fish according to their ability and find and learn marks that suit them.
There is no point me fishing a mark that need a long cast,as yet my skill level ain\'t up to it and a duff back means it prob never will.
But i understand the hassle of people ruining a good spot,a friend of mine has started to join me and the difference of one year is obvious, casting over my line, wasting time with crap baits etc.
But just enjoy your fishing, always keep learning and leave it to others to decide if they wish to post advice, life is to short to worry over **** like that.
