Just fished the shingle beach just north of seaham , was amazed to see some idiot behind us practice casting from the prom using a shock leader I e no rotten bottom so I said do you not think its a bit dangerous cast over the top of people with kids, the reply was , it's my beach as well. The result was a snap off that it shot past us, I'm glad the rod banged off the wall which prompt him to do one, obvious he didn't think of the danger. I have one thing to say, Think of your sport don't spoil it for others that love theirs.

Why on earth was he practice casting on a day like this aswel the goon -
I would practice cast on a day like this with the wind behind me, but would take into consideration the safety of others and anglers around me, and do it elsewhere or somewhere quiet and out of the way, as stated its just common sense, which obviously this guy didnt have.Originally posted by cod head View PostSouth Shields & District SACComment
