Thinking fishing middleton in hartlepool on Monday was just wondering if off the end is the best option and is it rough ground or mostly sand?

Ive never lost gear off middleton, very clean... In my opinion get right of the end and put it as far as you can

I've never fished Middleton for years but used to be very clean ground. Only loss of gear was an unlucky crack off.

Ah my rod nearly follows the sinker in the sea if i get a crack off lol frustrating to say the least

its clean ground all around middleton. theres rocks along its sides but only up to 20ft out.

if its flat in daylight, dont bother...you,ll only come away dissapointed.

if fished at night on a rising tide you will get sport with whiting.

for a chance of a cod it needs to be very rough, even than as last week proved your not guaranteed.

very, very poor and a lot of dissapointed anglers who also expected to catch.
