i can get it 50p a 5 stone sack but the postage/air fair would bump the price up

my old man used to live in thailand and thats all he used to pay per sack

Could you not give 5 stone of Thai mussels directions to North Shields, Cooky?
They could make their way over themselves - might take a while for them to get there, but it\'d save on transport costs

Used to get my fresh mussels from Vaseys fishmongers in South Shields - they were something like £1.20 per pound.

Now it\'s been taken over and become R&A Seafoods, the price has gone up quite a bit. Can\'t recall how much they are now as my son has been calling in for them recently.

morrisons sell them also fresh but to be honest

if i was to buy fish to eat myself morrisons would be the last on my list as the macky is left with guts in and stinks

Aye Cooky - bought some macky from there meself a couple of times......good job it was only for fishbait......I certainly wouldn\'t eat it.

Bought 6 last year and 3 of them were already rotten..........and they sell them for \"human consumption\" ???
