  • Where to go on Friday

    Alright lads,

Thinking of going out on Friday night 6-10 ish.

    Low water is at 9.

Not sure where to go with all this snow. (Possibly black middens beach)

Can anybody recommend somewhere to try from Tynemouth to Blyth.

    Cheers,

    Lee

U could give Whitley beach a shot like just opposite the Rex hotel there's a gully there always worth a try and if ur going on low water u will be to get ryt out on the rocks.

          Hi John,

Is the rex just along from south parade?
And do you get down to the beach straight from there?

          Cheers

Just go to the bottom ov the strip where all the bars are in Whitley bay and at the bottom there a night club called deep with Rex hotel above it in big blue letters go a across the road and down the stairs and fish directly opposite the hotel.
When the tides low u will see the gully and u can get far out on the rocks but keep an eye on the tide. COz u don't want to be getting stuck.

no mate go down to the south pier at the start you will see a path down on your right hand side mind it can be slippy n just walk across the rocks and fish the channel if you dont like loosing gear a wouldnt advice fishing here as it can be really tackle hungry you can normaly get 2 down and 2 up on here, but on bigger tides 2 1/2 each side ov low water just watch the gully behind you dosent flood n cut you off

                      Nice one sid !! Lol
If its got t1ts or tyres, its gonna be trouble.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem
