  • codling on frozen rag

After my last fishing session i decided to try and freeze my ragworm for future use for a few reasons, to see if they could be used again and most importantly if they could still catch. I covered a few worms in salt and froze them in newspaper, i used them last night on a 1 up 1 down in hartlepool and had a little codling on them after my second cast i also used blacks, mackerel and muscle and only had a rockling to show, but frozen rag works maybe not as effective as live but a nice back up bait to have in the freezer.

The pictures not perfect as it was -2 at the time

2013 catches whiting, codling, coalie, rocling, man flu.

Had some good flatties out of the rivers on frozen rag, just put them
