  • Craster High Water ?

    Hi,

Been fishing Craster recently with a little success but mainly over low water and a couple of hours into the flood ?

Is it a decent shot around high water say 2hours before and after and any marks in particular ?

    Thanks

    Kev

chucking behind both islands at high m8 or u can fish from high water all the way up 2 the castle because the shore line is steep so u will always b hitting deep water & weed.

You can fish anywhere up to the castle but you have to bring the fish through a forest of kelp
if your looking for a bit of sport, try fishing the harbour, north side of the pier,in front of the houses casting towards the island, a hotspot for coalies
        good luck

Fish the south pier fishing the tide up just need a little lob into the gully that runs along the side. Very big fish get caught there! Also when tide states to drop you can fish other side of the wall into same gully. Then onto the Ireland for low water! Just be very carful of the tide coming up. Nearly been caught out my self..
