Stop knot for me 20lb amnesia, no bead or sequin, the tag end does the job. Also put one above my top pennel, stops it riding up during the cast.
    Stay safe!

I have started using the rubber backs for display ear rings £1.50 for 500 from china , I use a hair rig needle to put them on go through side if using fine diameter line , they just work like float stops

Yeah stop knot above smaller hook stops it moving during cast and easy to slide if you need to

what about using crimps on rig bodies is it not more dodgie.

bait stop knots i use sliding stop knot just leave about half an inch spurr when trimming knot,i mainly use approx 30lb mono for cod fishing that is.

You can also use power gum as a stop knot.
Being rubber, it gets a good grip and can also be adjusted when needed.

I use a bead and a stop knot on my pulley rigs, this stops the top hook from sliding up the line when I cast. These work for me.

Power gum for me as well. I've used it for years, not the cheapest but does the best sliding stop knots. Just push it up and down the snood for different sized baits.
